Privacy policy

Last updated: September 18, 2026

1. Who we are

This site is operated by Ignite Development, LLC, an Indiana limited liability company (“Ignite Development,” “we,” or “us”). Questions about this policy go to privacy@ignitetoday.com.

2. What this policy covers

This policy covers information collected through ignitetoday.com. It does not cover information you share with us offline or during a client engagement, which is handled under the agreement for that engagement, or websites we link to.

3. What we collect

Information you give us

  • Contact form: your name, email, and message (required); phone and company (optional).
  • Seven Questions guide: your name and email address.
  • Pre-call questionnaire (sent to people who have booked a call): name, email, and phone (required); website addresses, the stage your business is in, your revenue goal, and your answers about the business (optional).
  • Venue sourcing request (sent to clients planning an event): name, email, phone, and mailing address (required); organizational and contract contacts, including the contract signer’s name and email; a preferred hotel chain and the client’s preferred hotel loyalty number; and details of the event — locations, dates and times, room counts and set-up, food and beverage, audio-visual needs, how you plan to pay (no payment card details are collected), and your contract timeline (optional).

Answers saved on your device. The two longer forms keep your answers in your own browser as you type, so a closed tab doesn’t lose them. They stay on your device, are not sent to us until you press Send, and are cleared once your answers reach us — or when you choose “Clear saved answers.” Answers left unsent for 14 days are discarded.

Collected automatically

  • When you visit, our hosting provider, Cloudflare, processes standard technical information such as your IP address, browser and device type, and the page requested, to deliver the site and protect it from abuse.
  • When you submit a form, we record the date and time and the country your connection comes from.
  • Visitor statistics. We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to count visits and see which pages are read. It does not use cookies, does not collect information that identifies you, and does not follow you to other websites. We see only totals, such as page views, referring sites, and countries.
  • We do not use advertising pixels.

4. Why we collect it

  • To answer you. Inquiry details are used to respond, assess fit, and prepare for a first conversation.
  • To send what you asked for. If you request the Seven Questions guide, we send it to you by email. We may later email you once to ask whether you’d like to hear from us more often. If you don’t say yes, we won’t add you to anything.
  • To keep the site working. Security and spam prevention.
  • To improve the site. Visitor totals show which pages are useful.
  • To meet legal obligations and protect our rights.

We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it for advertising.

5. Where it is stored

Form submissions are processed by this website’s own code, which runs on Cloudflare, and are stored in Cloudflare’s database service, which may keep copies in data centers around the world. Email notifications about a submission are sent through Postmark.

6. How long we keep it

What you send through the forms on this site is kept in our website’s database for 24 months from the day it arrives, and then deleted automatically.

The one exception is a Seven Questions guide request: your name and email address are kept until you ask us to remove them, so we can ask whether you’d like to hear from us more often. To be removed, email privacy@ignitetoday.com.

If you become a client, what you send us may also become part of our records for that work, which we keep for as long as we need them for the engagement and for ordinary business and tax records, unless the law requires us to keep them longer. You can ask us to delete your information at any time (see “Your rights” below).

7. Who we share it with

  • Service providers that run the site and deliver email, each acting on our instructions: Cloudflare (hosting, form storage, spam protection, and visitor statistics) and Postmark (email delivery).
  • Professional advisors, such as our attorneys and accountants, where needed.
  • Legal authorities, when the law, a court order, or legal process requires it, or to protect the rights and safety of Ignite Development or others.
  • A successor business, if Ignite Development is merged, sold, or reorganized.

8. Cookies and embedded video

Strictly necessary cookies make the site work. After you submit a form, a cookie lasting at most five minutes carries your first name to the thank-you page so it can greet you, and is deleted as soon as that page loads. We do not use analytics or advertising cookies.

Spam protection. Our forms use Cloudflare Turnstile to check that a real person is submitting them. To do that, Cloudflare evaluates signals from your browser and device, such as your IP address, and uses them only to provide the check, not for advertising.

Embedded video. The client interviews on Voices on Video are hosted by YouTube in privacy-enhanced mode (youtube-nocookie.com), and load only when you press play — so no tracking cookies are set until you choose to watch. Once you do, YouTube may set cookies under Google’s own policy.

9. Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect the information you send us. No method of transmitting or storing information online is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

10. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to request a copy of your information, correct it, delete it, or opt out of certain processing, and not to be treated differently for asking. Email privacy@ignitetoday.com. We will confirm that we have received your request within 10 business days and aim to complete it within 30 days.

  • Verification. Before acting on a request, we may ask for information that lets us confirm you are the person the information is about.
  • Authorized agents. Someone you authorize can make a request for you. We may ask for proof of that authorization and ask you to confirm your identity directly.
  • Appeals. If we decline a request, you can appeal by emailing privacy@ignitetoday.com with “Privacy appeal” in the subject line.

11. Visitors outside the United States

This site is operated from the United States and intended for visitors there. If you use it from elsewhere, your information may be transferred to and processed in other countries, whose data protection laws may differ from yours.

12. Children

This site is intended for business professionals and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children. If you believe a child has sent us information, email privacy@ignitetoday.com and we will delete it.

This site links to other websites, such as LinkedIn and YouTube. Their privacy practices are their own, and this policy does not apply to them.

14. Changes

If this policy changes, we will update the date above, and give additional notice where the law requires it.
